Villa Uliveto, Colli Fontanelle

A beautiful country retreat located in the verdant hills above Positano in a village named Colli Fontanelle, whose access is from a country road lined with olive trees and flowers. The property stands in a very panoramic position, with stunning views of the Amalfi Coast both from the gardens and the villa. Air is fresher on this top part of the coast especially at night, so air conditioning is not strictly needed.

The villa has been built using the local volcanic stone (tufo) and is carefully furnished with antiques, prints, watercolors and ceramic pieces that preserve the traditions of the Campania region.

Layout of the Villa

On the Ground floor there is a large garden filled with palms, flowers and cactus (caution if travelling with children). Inside there is a comfortable living area with functional fireplace, dining room with seating for up to 12 people, fully equipped kitchen, master bedroom with king-size bed with en-suite bathroom with bathtub. Double doors open directly to a vine covered terrace on the edge of the garden with ample furniture for relaxing.

The first floor features a double bedroom in brilliant yellow with a picture window with stunning views of the Galli islands with en suite bathroom. A single bedroom with an 18th century iron bed frame and an en suite bath.

The Second floor has two twin bedrooms. Each has an en suite bathroom with a shower. Access from external stairs from the terrace.

The additional cottage is in the garden - 100 metres from the main villa
It has a sitting room with a sofa bed that can become a single bed and a double bedroom with en suite bathroom and shower. The Cottage is never rented separately from the main villa, and it is available only in high season, from June through September. All double beds at the Villa can be divided into twin beds.
